Wanda Grabner Ludlow

Wanda (Centers) Grabner Ludlow died peacefully in her sleep on July 16, 2024, she was born July 23, 1931, in Scottsville KY to Ruby (Oliver) and Ruel Centers. Wanda and her husband, Delbert Ludlow were members of the Lynhurst Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

Wanda is survived by her 4 children Deborah (Bob) Griff, Gail Grabner, Anthony D. Grabner and Paul Grabner. 2 stepsons Michael (Shelley) Ludlow and John (Stacey) Ludlow. 6 grandchildren Ashley (Chris) Morey Byrd, Andrea Grabner, Megan Grabner, Evan Ludlow, Piper (Nikkol) Griffeeney, and Jenna (Cary) Sufficool. 5 great-grandchildren Nyx, Daxton, Hugh, Drake and Scarlett.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Delbert Dale Ludlow, her first husband Anthony M. Grabner, and her beloved cousin and best friend Edna Mae Ard.

Wanda has many cousins, relatives, and friends that she dearly loved. Family was everything to her.

Wanda was a Realtor in Indianapolis for 60 years beginning in 1962. She was a Charter Member of the Indianapolis Realtors Women’s Council, became President of the local chapter in 1967, then President of the state chapter in 1970. In 1973 she was the first woman appointed by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to serve on a national committee. She served 2 years as a NAR Governor and as Regional Vice-President for Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin in 1974. Later she was a NAR trustee. She was named Distinguished Woman of the Year by the Indianapolis of Women’s Council in 1975. She was President of the Indiana Association of Realtors in 1993.

Wanda won many awards throughout the years some of which include the Distinguished Service Award from the Indianapolis Board of Realtors. And the Distinguished Service Award from the Indiana Association of Realtors in 2010.

Visitation will be Thursday July 25th, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway 4:00 to 8:00 pm with the funeral service at 5:30 pm at Speedway.

Additional visitation in Scottsville KY at the T. W. Crow Funeral Home Saturday July 27th, 2024, Noon to 2:00 pm. Graveside services will be at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
