Wana Lee Long Petty

September 18, 1931 – June 28, 2014

Wana Lee Long Petty, age 82, died Saturday June 28, 2014 at the Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care in Scottsville, Ky.

The Allen County native was the daughter of the late Uel Long and Lilly Wanetta Guy Long and was preceded in death by her husband J. W. Petty and brother Ray Long.  She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Billy Petty and wife Pam and Bobby Petty and wife Judy all of Scottsville, her daughter Tammy Cary and husband Jim of Shepherdsville, Ky., five grandchildren, Cindy Foster and husband Sean, Christy Ward, Richey Petty and wife Lauriann, Wendy Woods and husband Terry Joe “Groundhog” and Zac Cary, and nine great grandchildren, Ty, Meg, Jack, Alex, Macy, Keagan, Austin, Andrew, and Griffin.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Sunday July 6, 2014 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday July 6, 2014 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
