Sherry Lee Jackson Grubbs,

April 21, 1929 – January 25, 2017

Sherry Lee Jackson Grubbs, age 87 passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

The Allen County native was the wife of the late Morris L. Grubbs and the daughter of the late Robert Lee Jackson and Ruby Claire Massey Jackson. She is preceded in death by her brother, John C. Jackson and sister, Mary Bess Harper. She was a 1946 graduate of Scottsville High School; an owner of Grubbs Bookkeeping Service Inc.; a member of Scottsville Baptist Church and the JOY Missionary Circle.

She is survived by a daughter, Shawn Shipley and her husband Danny of Scottsville; three grandchildren, Darren Shipley and wife Mary of Hendersonville, TN; Deanna Catlett and husband David of Louisville, KY; and Morgan Shipley of Bowling Green, KY; four great grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth Shipley and Sarah and Leah Catlett; ; two sister in laws Sue Jackson of Scottsville KY and Betty Grubbs of Bartow FL and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday January 26, 2017 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home and Friday until time of service.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday January 27, 2017 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery

Memorial donations may be made to Scottsville Baptist Church or Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
