Ralph W. Lyles
December 8, 1919 – June 29, 2017
Ralph Lyles, age 97, died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Glenview Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Glasgow, Ky.
The Allen County native was the son of the late George Estes Lyles and Vinnie Simmons Lyles. A WWII Army veteran, he was member of the Scottsville First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #208 F & AM and Halfrey Dalton V. F. W. #5712. He and his late wife Sue Atwood Lyles owned L. Atwood Co. and he served over 20 years as a rural mail carrier.
He is survived by his daughter Suzanne Mayhew and husband Steve of Glasgow, Ky., his son Steve Lyles and wife Nancy of Alexander City, Al., four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, Brett Lyles and wife Melinda and their children, Austin, Ethan, and Morgan, Stephanie Marthens and husband Donny and their children, Carly and Nadia, Dr. Ashley Mayhew and wife Cara and their children, Tristin, Landon, and Aiden, and Wesley Mayhew and wife Nicole and their children, Aaron and Corey.
Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Saturday July 1, 2017 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.
Masonic Service will be 7:00 PM Saturday July 1 2017 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday July 2, 2017 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
