Phyllis Jean Pruitt Hood McCaleb

March 9, 1931 – November 1, 2019

Phyllis Jean Pruitt Hood McCaleb, age 88, died Friday November 1, 2019 at the Cal Turner Specialty Care and Rehab in Scottsville, Ky.

The Allen County native was the daughter of the late Weldon Andrew Pruitt and Marjorie Lyles Pruitt, the wife of the late Gerald Hayden Hood, the mother of the late Timothy Lee Hood and the grandmother of the late Scott Hayden Hood.

She is survived by her two sons Mark Hood and Philip Hood both of Scottsville, two grandchildren Angie Swygart (Ricky) and Adam Hood (Kassiopeia) and four great grandchildren Ally, Riley, Tanner and Magnus on the way.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday November 2, 2019 and 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Sunday at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Bethel UMC cemetery.
