Mildred Douglas

Mildred Jewell Carter Douglas, age 95, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Hospice House of Southern KY.

The Allen County native was the daughter of the late Harvey Carter and Dollie Myrtle Stratton Carter Bell and the wife of the late Lattie Andrew Douglas. She is preceded in death by one son Bobby Ray Douglas, one daughter Sue Carol Read, one step daughter Janice Sue Mitchell, one grandchild and one step grandchild.

She is survived by two daughters Linda Stovall and husband Larry and Barbara Mayes and husband Ronald, both of Scottsville, one son Morris A. Douglas and wife Betty of Alvaton KY, four sisters Thelma Carter of Jacksonville FL, Juanita Holland of Daytona FL, Beatrice Shinn of Jacksonville FL, and Virginia Robinson of Cookeville TN, ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

Visitation 2:00-8:00 PM Saturday September 27, 2014 and Sunday until funeral time at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.

Eastern Star Service will be 7:00 PM Saturday September 27, 2014 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday September 28, 2014 at he T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
