Melvin Walter Olsen, Sr.

Born in Cochecton, New York to the late George Olsen and Sarah Segar Olsen on March 14, 1936, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Olsen and two brothers George Olsen, Jr. and Howard Olsen.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Olsen, two daughters, Elizabeth Olsen and Janice Ferber (Ronald), three sons; Russell Olsen (Pattie), Melvin Olsen, Jr. (Robin) and Raymond Olsen (Jennifer), two sisters, Helen Hanslmaier (Charles) and Marion Baker, one brother, Herbert Olsen (Donna), 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Local visitation will be Saturday September 30, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

There will be visitation and funeral in Jeffersonville, NY, October 3^rd and 4th under the direction of Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home 5068 State Rt. 52 Jeffersonville, NY 12748.  Visitation Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM EST and Funeral Wednesday at 11:00 AM EST.
