Lena Kate Jones Cole

August 4, 1916 – May 13, 2017

Lena Kate Jones Cole, age 100, died Saturday May 13, 2017 at Creekwood Place Nursing and Rehab in Russellville, KY.

The Allen County native was the daughter of the late James Milford Jones and Willie Bertha Sadler Jones.  She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Cole, five brothers Luther, Jimmy, Vesper, Brownie, and Novis Jones and five sisters, Mary Woodward, Adele Woodward, Myrtle Napier, Vera Napier, and Mabel Oaks.

She is survives by her daughter Martha Jo Meguiar and husband Mickey, of Russellville, KY, two grandchildren Lori Bouldin and husband Thomas and Michael Cole Meguiar and wife Gwen, six grandchildren Ann-Meguiar, Olivia and Eva Bouldin and Mickey, Mattie and Josie Meguiar and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday May 15, 2017 at the T. W. Crow and Son Funeral Home and 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday May 16, 2017 at the Mt. Union United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 16, 2017 at the Mt. Union United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Union United Methodist Church or Russellville First Baptist Church Radio Bible Class.
