James Seaton Secrest Sr., age 85, died Monday September 19, 2016 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.
The Jefferson County KY native is preceded in death by his parents Elmer Seaton Secrest and Linney Witherbee Secrest, one daughter Lynne Suzanne Secrest, and a sister Ann Secrest Ellers. He was County Judge from 1958-1961, County Attorney from 1966-1989.
He is survived by his wife Mary Sue Corum Secrest, one son Jim Secrest Jr. and wife Vivian, three grandchildren Melissa S. Schwartz, Traci L. Berry and husband Tyler and Damian T. Secrest, four great grandchildren Foster, Silas, James Tyler and Nate.
Visitation will begin 11:00 AM Wednesday September 21, 2016 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday September 22, 2016 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
