J.C. Herrington

April 25, 1941 – February 26, 2015

J.C Herrington, age 73, died Tuesday February 26, 2015 at the Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

The Simpson County native was the son of the late Ben Gobel Herrington and Etta Bell Hinton Herrington and preceded in death by his sister Lilly B. Stillwell Wood. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 50.

He is survived by two daughters Carol Sue Major & husband Emil of Wolverine, MI, and Shirley Ann Keyes of New Baltimore, MI, one son John Charles Herrington and wife Ellen of Warren, MI, six grand children, Anthony, Shanna, Dar, Melissa, Lisa, and Leona, six great grand children, Jonathan, Anthony, Kayla, Chloe, Aiden, Braxton, and Rylynn and two brothers Bobby Herrington and Jerry Herrington both of Scottsville.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Saturday February 28, 2015 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Sunday March 1, 2015 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Walkers Chapel Cemetery.
