Harold Gordon Holland

Harold Gordon Holland departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the age of 85. Gordon was born December 19, 1938 in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late Harold Milburn Holland and Beatrice Marsh Holland.

Gordon gave his life to Jesus at an early age and has now taken his Heavenly flight to a better place. He was converted under the preaching of Elder Alfred Cook at Oak Forest Missionary Baptist Church #2.

Gordon was a lifelong resident of Scottsville, Kentucky; a retired General Electric employee; former mechanic at York and Massey; and former Co-owner and operator of H & M 100 Stop located on the Holland Rd. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed watching the sport of basketball.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruby (Carter) Holland; One daughter, Pamela Denise Jones and her husband Johnny; Two granddaughters, Shelley Elizabeth Drummond and her husband Ryan, of Bowling Green, KY and Lauren Nicole Hayes and her husband, Dr. Seth Hayes, of Jackson, TN; Three great grandchildren, Wade Drummond, Hallie Drummond and Cooper Hayes; One sister, Marsha (Holland) Morgan and her husband Donald, of Scottsville, KY and several loving cousins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be Saturday July 20, 2024 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the T. W. Crow & Son funeral home and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be Sunday July 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the T. W. Crow & Son funeral home with burial to follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
