Dr. Colwell

Dr. Felty Colwell, age 80, of Scottsville KY died Sunday August 10, 2014 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.

The Smithville, TN native was the son of the late C.D. Colwell and Edna Certain Colwell. He was a chiropractor in Scottsville KY for 34 years, enjoyed farming for much of his life and was a member of the Scottsville First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sarah Inglis Colwell, one son Dr. Blake Colwell of Elizabethtown, KY, two daughters Michelle Fane and husband Dr. Bruce Fane of Bowling Green KY, Stephanie Gillam of Bowling Green, KY four grandchildren Meredith and Chandler Fane and Savannah and Nicholas Gillam all of Bowling Green, KY one brother Dr. Frank Colwell of Smithville, TN two sisters Charlene Pipkin of Lafayette, TN and Rose Dillen of Smithville, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in Bowling Green Gardens, Bowling Green KY.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky and the American Red Cross.
