Dorothy Richards

Dorothy Chandler Richards, age 87, died Thursday January 11, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

Born in Allen County on September 17, 1936 to the late Odus and Mary Chandler, she devoted her life to serving others, including numerous mission trips and teaching sunday school at Mt. Pleasent Methodist Church, where she was a member for over fifty years. She truly embodied the christian life in her kindness and selflessness.

She is survived by her husband Charles Richards, Jr., sister Carol Higby, two grandchildren, Dustin Richards and Rebekah Westray and five great grandchildren; Arabella and Alexy Richards and Cecilia, Colt, and Casen Westray.  Preceding her in death are her son Nathan Richards and siblings; Betty Loch, Glenn Chandler and Wayne Chandler.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasent Methodist Church.
