Clara V. King Wygal

October 1, 1923 – July 19, 2014

Clara V. King Wygal, age 90, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, in Scottsville, KY. The Allen County, KY native was the wife of the late Raymond P. Wygal. She is survived by her son, John Steven Wygal and his wife, Claudette, of Scottsboro, AL and three grandsons, John Christopher Wygal of Huntsville, AL, Justin Buchanan Wygal and his partner, James Eric Goss, of Birmingham, AL, and Benjamin Alan Wygal of Natchez, MS. Also surviving are two sisters, Evelyn Absher and Edith 'Chunnie'  Simmons, both of Scottsville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Harrison King and Nealie Florence Witcher King, her son, Ronald Allen Wygal, and her siblings, Gladys King, William King, Doug King, and an infant sister Pernie King.

She was a longtime employee of the Dollar General Corporation in the Distribution Center in Scottsville, KY, retiring in 1989, and was a lifetime member of Scottsville Baptist Church. She so loved her children and grandchildren and was proud of each of them.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm on Friday, July 25, 2014, at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Scottsville, KY. The funeral will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 26, 2014, also at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or Scottsville Baptist Church.
