Charles Gerald Wooten

Charles Gerald “Jerry” Wooten, age 77, died Wednesday October 16, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, Ky.

Born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Riley Banks Wooten and Martha Evelyn Griffen Wooten and was preceded in death by his sister Pat Wooten, Jerry was a member of Mount Union Methodist Church and Graham Lodge 208. He retired from elementary education after thirty plus years.

He is survived by his wife Judy Wooten, two sons; Dr. Eric Wooten (Mary) and Kyle Wooten (Lisa), seven grandchildren; Eric Tyler Wooten, Jr. (Kinzy), Madison Wooten, Charlie Wooten, Brianna Wooten, Sarah Wooten, Andrew Kornrumpf (Imani), and Cody Kornrumpf (Paige) and great grandchildren; Eris, Gabe and Damien.

Visitation will be Friday October 18, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the T. W. Crow & Son funeral home and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A Masonic Service will be held Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be Saturday October 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at T. W. Crow & Son funeral home with burial to follow in the Mount Union Methodist Church Cemetery.

Memorial Donation may be made to the Mt. Union Methodist Church or the Graham Lodge.
