Carol Jean Mathis Burton

November 14, 1945 – October 25, 2021

Carol Jean Mathis Burton, age 75, died Monday October 25, 2021 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Born in Scottsville, KY to the late Marvin Mathis and Minnie Sue Miller Mathis, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rainey Burton, daughter, Christy Violette, and son, Denny Burton.

She is survived by her three daughters; Rhonda Cherry (Nelson) of Scottsville, Tammy Weaver of Scottsville, and Roberta Burton of Michigan, four sons;  Rainey Burton Jr., Jimmy Burton (Tara), Denzil Burton, and Robert Burton all of Scottsville, one sister Louise Mandrell of Scottsville, one brother Jerry Mathis of Indianapolis, twenty two grandchildren; Brandon, Lacey, Samantha, John, Clint, Rainey, Tammi, Haley, Hayden, Carol Ann, Cole, William, Allie, Brandy, Dalton, Matthew, Jordon, Jay, Jessie, Dylan, Anthony, and Amanda and twenty four great grand children; Aubrey Mia Keegan, Izaiah, Chloe, Iza, Harlee, Jaxon, Ella Jane, Noah, Aria, Colton, Corbyn, Natalee, Liam, Ivy, Gracon, Abbie, Kylen, Logan, Seth, Aleya, Emilea and Will.

Visitation will be Thursday October 28, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the T. W. Crow and Son Funeral Home and Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Friday October 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
